Hard Fought Games were the tale of tape for Wild Card Weekend

The West Texas Drillers and North Texas Mustangs played in a close game. The Drillers advanced with a 14-0 victory to move forward in the North Division side of the playoffs.

On the South side of the equation, the Texas Mustangs were able to hold off the Texas Spartans in a 33-18 victory.

The Drillers will take on the West Texas Pride, the second ranked seed of the playoffs. WTD has the advantage due to their amount of points scored during the season with 252. The Pride do boast a stingy defense allowing 8.4 points per game. With the home field advantage at their disposal, the game could go either way but the Pride do well at home. Look for a good game between the two.

The Texas Mustangs travel to Houston to take on the Ducks. The Ducks boast the second best scoring team in the CRAFL. The Ducks average 40 points a game. The two teams have a defense that are both strong. The Ducks have allowed 73 points all season, while the Mustangs allowed 78 points. The Mustangs are going to have to have an excellent day on offense to out duel the reigning CRAFL Bowl champions.
