The Austin Vipers and Texas Xtreme met up in a battle for Austin. The two teams based out of the Texas state capital duked it out in a 32-28, Xtreme victory. The two teams were battling it out for the top spot in the South Conference’s Capital Division. The Vipers could have created a tie for first with the win, instead dropped the opportunity, and will have second place spot within the division.
Also in the South, the Victoria Hurricanes stay atop the Cactus Division while the Houston Ducks increased their division lead by 2 games with a victory over the second place team, the Texas Mustangs, 39-18. The Capital City Bison hold on to a 1-game lead over the San Antonio Warriors in the Longhorn Division.
In the North Conference, the North Texas Stampede continue to win and stay atop the American Division. The Dallas Vikings claimed a half-game lead over the North Texas Mustangs with a 54-18 win for the 2nd spot in the American Division. Lonestar Rhinos won to stay atop their division, the Patriot Division with a victory over the DFW Hawks, 29-13. Out in West Texas in the Flatland Division, the West Texas Pride defeated the West Texas Lions, 28-0 to cause a tie for first place within the division.
